About Tesdash

Tesdash is a self-hosted, static dashboard designed to launch streaming services, music platforms, sports channels, personal media, gaming, and homelab tools — all from your Tesla's in-vehicle browser.

It runs entirely in your browser with no server required after deployment. Categories can be reordered to match your preferences, and a built-in URL launcher lets you open any website in fullscreen.

What is Tesdash?: Tesdash is a dashboard that lets you launch streaming services, music, sports, and other apps directly from your Tesla's browser — all opening in fullscreen with a single tap.
How do I open an app?: Just tap or click any app card. It will open the service in a new fullscreen tab in your Tesla's browser.
What is the URL Launcher?: The bar at the top of the page lets you type any URL and open it — handy for sites not listed in the dashboard.
Can I reorder the categories?: Yes. Grab the dotted handle to the left of any category name and drag it to a new position. Your order is remembered across visits.
Does it work outside my Tesla?: Yes, Tesdash works in any modern browser on any device. The fullscreen behavior is optimized for Tesla's in-vehicle browser.
Is it free?: Completely free, no account or sign-up required.
Does Tesdash store any of my data?: No. The only data saved locally is your category order, language preference, country filter, and any custom apps you have added. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
How do I change the language?: Tap the language button in the top-right corner to open the Language & Region settings. From there you can choose the interface language and filter apps by country.
What does the country filter do?: It hides apps that are not available in your country, such as regional charging networks. Your country is detected automatically from your car's timezone, or you can set it manually in the Language & Region settings.
Can I add my own apps?: Yes. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner to open the Add App form. Enter a name, URL, logo, category and color. You can also choose whether the app opens in fullscreen or in a normal tab.
Can an app open without fullscreen?: Yes. When adding a custom app via the + button, toggle off Fullscreen to open it directly in the browser. Self-hosted users can also set fullscreen: false on any app in config.yml.
